The order numbers for our cuckoo clocks consist of a four-digit number.
For example

The 1st number:
Gives information on the type of clock, e.g.
1-day movement, 8-day movement, musical clock etc.
0 = 1-day clock without chiming
1 = 1-day cuckoo clock
2 = 1-day cuckoo clock with music and dancers
3 = 8-day cuckoo clock
4 = 8-day cuckoo clock with music and dancers
5 = 8-day cuckoo clock with music and musican
6 = 1-day clock (no cuckoo)
7 = 8-day clock (no cuckoo)
8 = 1-day cuckoo- and quail clock

The 2nd number:
Gives information on the size of the clock. (The sizes vary somewhat owing to the differnt carvings.)
1 = approx. 21 cm
2 = approx. 28 cm
3 = approx. 35 cm - 45 cm
4 = approx. 40 cm - 50 cm
5 = approx. 50 cm - 60 cm
6 = approx. 65 cm - 75 cm
7 = approx. 85 cm - 95 cm
8 = approx. 120 cm
9 = approx. 150 cm

The 3rd and 4 th number: Give the information on the external appearance of the Clock, e.g. carving, coating etc.
Fore example the order number 4430 therefore denotes the same clock as 4530, but one number smaller.
